Portsdown 4 Update

I have just released an update (202304300) for the Portsdown 4. The update includes a number of minor upgrades to existing capabilities:
  • It adds the facility to directly enter a non-standard symbol rate on the main receiver menu. The far right SR button (normally 125) can be directly reprogrammed to any SR, without the need to go into the Config menu.
  • H266 encoded signals (with stream type 51) are now labelled as H266. The Portsdown cannot display the video, but at least it now tells you why!
  • The LongMynd receive software has been updated to the latest version.
  • When using the LimeSDR as a signal generator, it now generates a much cleaner signal.
  • The time span shown by the waterfall in MeteorViewer can now be increased by entering a desired duration in seconds.
Please report any bugs here.

Hi Dave,

Following instructios for the DMM to go into settings and select invert input and restart, it resets to signal normal so do I have an input error from my lidl meter or my interface the signal is moving up and down on the pi 4 pin 3 GPIO02.

Any suggestions as I get no readings.

Hi Brian

You should not need to select invert to make it work. Have you tried it the other way around?

Dave,

Yes, I have and no difference will have to put scope on to take a closer look.

Thanks

Hi Dave.

Scope set to .1v per div with x 10 probe, looks about 3.5v, perhaps my pi4 pin 3 gpio02 not working.

Hi Brian

Thanks for letting me know. I was beginning to get worried that there was some obscure software bug!
