Portsdown4 Pluto

Post by IU2KAC » Sun Feb 26, 2023 4:45 pm

Today, together with my friend Vincenzo IW2HXW, we dedicated more than half a day to understanding what problem afflicted my Pluto. Having made all the possible tests and simulations, including that of two Recovery Modes, with all this we were unable to solve the problem. The crazy thing is that the Pluto connected with PC is fine (see photo), but once connected to Portsdown (it is recognized) but it doesn't go to TX?!?😨 Now I was wondering if anyone has had the same thing happen with a Pluto rev. Some questions to help us answer:

What firmware do you have on the Pluto?

What is the IP address of your Pluto?

What is the IP address of your Portsdown?

Sorry - and another question:

What is the IP address of your router on the LAN?

OK

Nothing wrong there then.

Does BandViewer work with the Pluto?

Does the Signal Generator work with the Pluto?

Could it be a power supply issue running the Pluto off the PI? Is the PI running at 5.3V for example?

With Band Viewer it works, but I see that the signal is not stable (it seems to pulsate in amplitude).
