Portsdown 4 SmartiPi Touch 2 Case

Post by G8KOE » Fri Jun 10, 2022 10:33 am

Just built BATC MiniTioune 2 and decided to use the Rapberry Pi 4 in a Portsdown 4.
Looked for a case found a SmartPi Touch 2 Case from PiHut.
This had so many options fan camera etc.
Put it all together programmed an SD Card following the instruction from Dave.
I now have a working system and very pleased with how well everything just works.
It makes me appreciate how much time had gone into the project by all involved.
There is always something that I didn't think abbot the Pi camera orientation.
As can be seen from picture is there a menu setting that I've missed?
May be able to reposition camera but not easy.

The TX and now RX controlled from one unit makes the possibility for me to go portable.

I had the same issue..
You need to turn the pi camera physically.
Its a squeeze but can be done.

Hi Nick,
I have now rotated the camera and rerouted the ribbon cable.
All back together and working.
