hello.
i work with Portsdown 2020 and I am looking to use my CVBS cameras with Easy Cap.
Unfortunately, the one I own does not work...
Which model to use and or buy?

Hi Patrick

The only Easycap that works properly is the Fushicai USBTV007. Others look the same but do not work.

I have found that this HDMI to USB device works in place of the original Easycap. It does not do sound but that can now be sorted with a usb audio device. I don't know if this device will work for you as I bought mine some time ago and they may use different chips. It would be a gamble to try one.

I use these to feed various sources into my PC+OBS. Did it just plug and play with a Portsdown??
Sounds too good to be true, but I and at least one (Justin G8YTZ) other wondered just this a few days ago!

I took the EasyCap out and put the HDMI to USB in. Lucky or what?

Now I am trying to find the mic level adjustment for the Portsdown as it is too high. (see GB3NQ stream ) Still a problem with 16 by 9 but that was the same with EasyCap

I have just tried another one that is a different source and it works as well. Don't expect audio though...

Just tried mine (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133924177499) and that too works. I have audio, but its from the USB dongle source when left on Auto.
