Hello All
I am seeking help, I am trying to get my PD4 to work with my C525 and C170 web cams.
According to the wiki they are supported.
My set up is PD4 with original 7 inch screen and pluto running 202111200 software.
When I select the test-card by its self it works fine and great TX pictures.
When I select the PI camera it works fine.
But when I depower and unplug the PI Cam and I plug in ether the C170 or C525 separately there is no RF output when I transmit
and the LED on the web cam does not light up.
When plugged in separately I can see the web cams when I push the C920 monitor button .
I have tried different symbol rates but no RF out.
Using putty both the web cams identify ok, attached is the C170 printout and the INFO screen.
What am I doing wrong or are there other settings I need to make somewhere ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks.

Re: Seeking help with C170 and C525 webcam please
Try just webcam rather than C920?
Re: Seeking help with C170 and C525 webcam please
Hi Bruce
Your problem is that the Porstdown with Pluto is only tested at Symbol Rates up to 1 MS (as stated here https://wiki.batc.org.uk/Portsdown_4_Pluto).
The Test Card might work at higher SRs, but Webcams certainly do not. Try it at a reasonable symbol rate like 500 kS. You should get RF and pictures.
If you need 4 MS, you must use a LimeSDR Mini (not LimeSDR USB) with the DVB firmware. It's only a Raspberry Pi!

Sorry, I didn't spot that Bruce was trying to put 4ms through a Pluto!

Hello all, thanks for replys, much appreciated.
Its been +30'c in the shack this week and too hot to do much, thats Melbourne weather for you.
After much experimenting with the c170 and c525 I seem to have found a solution to my problem of no rf out from the Pluto
All my previous testing has been with the Audio turned OFF.
I have found if I turn the Audio ON from webcam, I now get rf out and good pictures up to 4K,
if I turn the audio off again, no rf.
Cheers
