Hi Joan

I have just confirmed that this update builds OK for me and receives perfectly.

As Mike suggests, please try updating again. Internet outages, or website downtime, during the update can sometimes cause this sort of problem.

If that does not cure it, try a "Factory Reset": Menu 3, System Config, Restore Factory.

Hi Dave,

I just noticed a difference of about 6DB on the Pluto between DVB-T and DVB-S.
Is there a possibility to "boost" the DVB-T?

Thank you,
Stephane.

Stephane

Sorry, this is not possible, because the Pluto (and Lime) needs more "headroom" to cope with the high peak-to-average ratio of DVB-T.

Thank you Dave, I will balance with the DVB-S gain.

Hi Dave
I'm looking forwards to CAT21 tomorrow.
I've done this update to my P4. I did have 2.4GHz transmit coming out of the 8-way RF switch 1255 port pre-update. I have nothing now post-update and the lamp stays on for 4m with no Tx. I was working up to transmitting on QO-100
There's still no reboot on this Portsdown. One for the clinic please.

Please may it have Fanshim support in the future? I have one fitted the Pi 4 instead of a heatsink. I've the script from here running on the Portsdown.

Adjust the temperature on and off thresholds?

kind regards

David

I wouldn't get too excited about the FanShims.

I fitted two on GB3EY's streamer and Ryde receiver and both fans failed in just under 6 months.

Not impressed and have now gone for a wrap round heatsink to provide passive cooling.
