Portsdown 4 band decoder board ptt

Post by M0dsr » Mon May 10, 2021 7:22 am

I have just bit and fitted the 4 band decoder board but it has a issue.
All the band switching works fine and switches as should, but the ptt line does not switch I've tested all the way back to pin 40 from decoder board trough breakout board so I know connections are good.
Does the ptt line need to be set up in the software? Or has anyone got any ideas.
Thanks

Hi

Does pin 40 go high when you select TX? Remember you have to wait 15 seconds in Lime and Pluto modes to allow for the calibration spike to finish.

OK

The PTT signal for the DATV Express card has traditionally been presented on the DATV Express GPIO Connector, not the Raspberry Pi pin 40.

I'm looking at ways to enable the PTT on RPi GPIO pin 40.

Please confirm that it is a Portsdown 4 and you are controlling it from the touchscreen?
