Ok just tried going from 1.30 to dab firmware. No output at all, the TX spike suppress line doesn’t change state now either. If I check the firmware I get as shown in photo. Only way back to the v1.30 is via lime suite.

Try plugging the Lime directly into the Raspberry Pi.

The symptoms point to a faulty USB cable, faulty Raspberry Pi or a faulty LimeSDR. The Portsdown uses LimeSuite to do the programming, so there should be no difference.

I’l try that tomorrow as I’m on day job just now. Bit of a worry as it was a new pi anyway I’ll give it a go.

Ok. This morning I realised the comp video usb stick was plugged into the other usb 3 socket. Removing it and putting it to the usb2 socket solved the problem, I can update the lime, upgrade to dvb and the TX looks ok on the analyser. I need an on air test to confirm this and I’ll do it later on. Thanks for your help, I was looking in the wrong place, ie an Rf problem when all along it was a usb issue.

Need to re align the qo100 dish again as the wind had a good go at it last week. Joys of Scottish weather
