I plugged an unbranded USB camera in and was delighted to find a lovely image was produced using the C920 Monitor, Pi Cam Monitor and Video Monitor options. I thought: that was easy!

Instead of the testcard I selected Webcam inc C920 and touched TX. The TX button highlighted red, but no output came from the USB-connected Pluto. The testcard works fine.

Any ideas?

The monitor program will work with almost any camera. The transmitter is a lot more fussy. Logitech C920 or C170 only.

Just remember that it isn't a Desktop PC. It's a Raspberry Pi doing something that it was never designed to do!

I was hoping my camera was a C920 imitator.
