Portsdown and Langstone outputting sound via a "3D Sound" USB dongle

Post by g3yjr » Thu Mar 11, 2021 7:18 pm

I referred to Dave G8GKQ's advice in the Langstone thread.

I've now got both Portsdown and Langstone putting sound out via a "3D Sound" USB dongle. https://g3yjr.wordpress.com/2021/03/11/ ... io-dongle/

Thanks Dave.

Hi Pierre

I have just tested this (building a new card) and it all seemed to work. No special action is required for the 7 inch screen.

Please post a picture of your sound dongle. If it is the wrong model that could be the problem.

I Will remake the opération.

About my 3d sound, it is this one.

Same mods in alsa.conf but no sound with pd4 from mic.
