No - you need to do the camera mounting modification which Colin G4KLB described in CQ-TV 267

Ive only just put my Portsdown 4 in the Smartipi 2 case and mounted the camera on its side as it is designed to fit..

I have changed it in software and it rotated the image just fine

Is there something Im missing???

Just wanted to check before any strip down to do Colin G4KLB's camera mod.

Have you checked that the transmitted image (with H264 encoding) is rotated?

Ahh ok thats why then, Ah well strip down and rebuild

And there was me thinking hey I got it to work
