will the ports down 2020 and 2019 software run on the pi 4
reason for asking is i like the 2020 but im buying some more rasp pi
and i can get the 4 for the same price as the pi3+
reason is to run leandvb on the rtlsdr and i believe the pi4 version does not have this

Portsdown 2020 software will not run on a Raspberry Pi 4. That is why I had to create the Portsdown 4 software, and why I am now supporting both the Portsdown 2020 and Portsdown 4 builds. I would much rather only have to support one build!
I am slowly re-introducing the RTL-SDR functionality to the Portsdown 4. The RTL-FM voice receiver now works, but there is quite a lot more work to do before leandvb will be supported. I would say that it is probably a number of months away, if at all.
I suggest that you build a MiniTiouner (for receive) and go down the Portsdown 4 route. There are many more new features coming to the Portsdown 4 that are technically not possible on the Portsdown 2020 due to its lower processor power.
