Hi Roland,

as Dave wrote above, the integration of Pluto is experimental at the moment.
not all features work.

Hi Saro

That feature is not included in the Portsdown Software. You could modify the file rpidatv/scripts/a.sh to do it, but there would be no touchscreen support for the feature.

After the next update (202008050, due today or tomorrow), the composite video input (using an EasyCap video capture device) will be enabled for the Pluto. You could then use an external media player.

Hi Dave,

Quick question I have a Pie 4 2GB coming tomorrow, will it work with the Custom Firmware for Lime Mini, Lime DVB Output or do I need to go back to the latest Lime Mini Firmware so I can just swap the Lime Mini over.

Thanks :)

Hi Simon

It should work with the Custom DVB firmware, just the same as the old version. I think I have tested it....

Hi Dave,

Have a question regarding the performance improvement of the Pi 4 over the Pi 3B when using H264 Modes. I know the Pi 4 has a much more powerful CPU, faster memory, 4K HDMI output, etc. My Pi 3 struggles when using H264 on anything above 4:3 using the built in Test Card using 1 or 2 M/S or even 4 M/S. Have you had a chance to test the performance improvement using H264 particularly when using 720p and 1080p and at what Symbol Rate?

Thanks

I am getting a strange error today checking for updates on 202008011 (menu 33) on the Langstone.

"Unable to connect to github for update, Internet connection to google sees OK, please check BATC Wiki FAQ for advice."

Now this would be fine except there is no FAQ section on the Wiki. I know why and what to do but thought I would mention this.

Mike
