7" Touchscreen Issues

Hi Everyone,

I've just started putting together a 2020 Portsdown and have followed the Wiki instuctions for building the software
up and putting things together with my Lime Mini. Seem to have fallen into problems straight away.

After the initial Software Build installation things seem to be going well and the PI 3 rebooted however when I then
tried using the touchscreen it seemed unresponsive on the Menu Buttons. After pressing around the screen a few
times I managed to get into other menus, however I was then unable to get any further or Cancel out of the menu or
change anything. The 7" Pie Screen seemed totally uresponsive and I had to power off and on but after reboot had
the same problem again. Could my screen be faulty or a corrupt software build?? Do I need to manually select the
type of Screen in SSH First and if so how do I do that?? Is there an SSH Menu?

Thanks for your help, Portsdown Newbie :D

Hi Simon

We have a temporary problem with the touchscreen due to a recent Raspbian operating system update. I'm just testing a fix and will post get-well instuctions here viewtopic.php?f=103&t=6778 as soon as I am confident that it works.

So not you, us!
