Hi all
If this has been covered before I apologise but I could not fibnd it on Forum.
I am constructing a simple Portsdown for use on Oscar 100.
I have a SmartiPi 2 case which houses the 7 inch display plus a Pi Cam etc...
The PiCam is mounted as per the SmartiPi build instructions with the cable feed to the right of the PiCam, so when selected from M2 the displayed image is on its side with the top of the image towards the left.
It is in a 16:9 format.
Is it possible to turn the image by 90 degrees in software?
If not I will have to see if I can change the mechanical fixing of the PiCam so that the cable feed is from the bottom.
Thanks in advance

Re: 7 inch screen SmartiPi 2 case and PiCam image on its side
Hi Nick
No, I did try to turn the image through 90 degrees in software, but it wasn't practical.
Colin G4KLB described in CQ-TV 267 (page 9?) how to modify the case to allow the camera to be mounted with the correct orientation for the Portsdown.
