Hi, Does anyone know what other webcams work with the portsdown/Lime Mini? The price of the C920 has gone over £100 and I think that is too much. If anyone has experience of other webcams , I would like to know. The pi camera is very good but the hdmi cable adaptor PCB's are out of stock at tindie.

Hi Jim
Only the C920 webcam is currently supported, as each webcam needs bespoke code writing for it, and the C920 is the only (decent) webcam that I have.
I'm quite happy to provide support for other new
widely-available webcams on the condition that I am loaned one for the duration of the time that support is required. The problem is that even if I modify the code to introduce support for a new webcam, the next Linux update (these happen on a daily basis) has the potential to break that support.
C920s used to cost about £75, but Amazon did a few offers on them for £25. The sharp increase in home working has led to a shortage in the market.
Although more expensive than Tindie, Pimoroni have the HDMI cable adapters in stock:

FYI,
I use a C270, it works, although via OBS to IPTS input it looks better.
But it works!
