I compiled the Longmynd software from Github on a desktop Linux machine and was able to receive QO-100 signals on a Minitiouner-Express wih it.

thanks Charles,
I asked because I cannot see the demodulated images...
I get the text with the infos of the beacon but not the images.
maybe I am doing something wrong!
I will try again with other signals in case is the beacon which is bad.

I was using the Longmynd software on it's own and piped the output to VLC without any of the other stuff.

Claudio

You cannot receive the beacon using Portsdown Buster 2020. You might get the audio with the VLC player, but no video.

Portsdown A27 on Langstone includes MPlayer, and this will give you about 10 seconds of beacon video.

If you are seeing the text about the beacon, then the tuner is working. Simply select another signal on QO-100 and use VLC player - all should become clear!

well...I always need a few kicks in the azz to start running!
now it's OK: I used the UDP feature to multicast the signal on my network and demodulate it with VLC and so I could see the beacon very well!
