7" screen and composite video out

Hello

There are statements in software release notes that composite video out to a FM transmitter or analogue display is now possible with a 7" screen fitted. I can see that there's a button for it in the new screen setup menu too. What are the wiring connections please? The screen has to use the video and audio output socket so from where does the composite video output come?

It's too late for my Portsdown 2019 build. I've finished a 3.5" screen model of everything in the Portsdown block diagram, making the case from aluminium 19" rack case lids.
A 7" screen is probably good value too because it takes two Waveshare 3.5" screens to make a Portsdown. The first one dies during construction and after the Amazon warranty has ended. The second screen seems to last.

cheers

I'm slightly confused at your statement. The recommended 7 inch screen only needs to connect to the CSI socket (by ribbon cable) on the RPi board. See picture below. The only other connections required are Gnd and +5v.
