Post by m1cdq » Mon Nov 11, 2019 7:16 pm

I thought i had it sorted. but once i get it running and recording to udp
I try and view the stream with vlc . I am unable to see it on vlc on the same pc or pc on same network.

not sure what the issue is. but it might be due to the pc having vmbox and 2 gigabit adapters.
but a cure or workaround
OBS i bound it to my main network IP address
File--settings---advanced----scroll down to network --- bind to IP (mine is "Ethernet 192.168.0.10")

vlc the stream address is now udp://192.168.0.10@230.0.0.11:20000

this works when i use it on any PC across the whole network at home
