PE43703 Attenuator

Post by G6MNJ » Wed Aug 21, 2019 10:11 am

Hi all,

I am a little confused about the wiring up of the PE43703 Attenuator LE line.

Notes from the website say its Pin10 of GPIO Digithin Connector (which I presume is the clubs breakout board for the Pi) I have the Willow board so have to solder this line direct to one of its pins but...

The Willow Docs state Pin 27 of the GPIO is 4351 LE and yet as stated earlier it was pin 10 - which is it?

Thanks in advance

Hi Paul,

The circuit diagram of the BATC GPIO board is in the Portsdown 2018 hardware section of the Wiki.

...are you sure I can't use a pair of 813's?...

Hi Paul,

The documentation is, how shall I say it politely, confusing.

The pin you require is 27, not pin 10 as specified in part of the documentation.

Good luck!

After a bit of fiddling it turns out it is actually Pin 10 !

No more confusion here!
