New-Build Installation Failures

I have experienced some problems over the last few days building new SD Cards using the install script. The problem is with upgrading the Linux distribution to the latest standard and nothing to do with the Portsdown code.
I have asked for assistance in the Raspberry Pi forum https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... 8&t=234766.
In the meantime, some new builds will work, others may fail. The only option is to try again (with a fresh Stretch Lite card image each time) until you get one that works.
