Fushicai USBTV007 dongle Chipset
Setting up transmitter to be used on W6CX ATV repeater. I have been told by many here the units are tested there before shipment here. Otherwise many dongles won't talk w/ PI. I was also told this is due to chipset compatibility. May I ask what chipset the 007 dongle utilizes. Is this all I would need to check on my Manhatten Dongle here (CX 23102 chipset) to make sure it works? Otherwise I need to become a member and buy the 007 unit. Thanks, Will

The chipset in the Fushicai is the UTV007. I cannot make any guarantees about any other chipsets. Full info on the Fushicai dongle here:

The only reason that we stock the Fushicai is that we had so much trouble with other chipsets.

OK Dave, thanks. I'm close to Fred, WB6ASU who has a few. Otherwise, I'd get a web membership and order the dongle.
