Just a (long-term thought) thought - now we have the stream receiver - is it possible to record this on the Portsdown sd? Or possibly onto a usb stick that can then be put into a pc?

Stream recording?
Re: Stream recording?
Interesting thought. Added to the to-do list, but low priority for now.
However, if you were to propose the user interface and detailed function definition - like how you start and stop recording, how you choose where it is saved to, what file size limits you have, what the filename is, how you retrieve it from the SD Card, how you start and stop a replay - it might be implemented sooner. The recording is easy, controlling it sensibly from a small touchscreen is difficult.

Re: Stream recording?
How about a selection to record everything (or not) to /home/pi/streams until the SD card reaches 90% full? No options to play back needed or we will all be treated to tedious unedited here is what I saw earlier videos.
