Hi Stephane

Not yet, but I know how to make it work and the capability should be in an update to be released before Christmas.

New Portsdown Stretch Software Release 201811100

This is a "stepping stone" release to enable future improvements in capability. It is not worth upgrading to unless you really want any of the following features:
  • Enabled caption on Pi Cam Streamer Output
  • Corrected streamer fail-to-start after use of H264 RF modes
  • Added System Menu with "Restore to Factory Settings"
  • Improved hardware shutdown button response time
  • Multiple Touchscreen Menu improvements
  • Added Menus and buttons for candidate future capabilities
  • Experimental Support for DVB-S2 modes with Lime
  • Experimental support for Lime USB (in addition to Lime Mini)
I would advise against upgrading if you are already using a Lime Mini. There are some unresolved issues with Lime Mini support in this release. It does bring some aspects of Lime-USB support, but again there are issues. I'm getting there slowly....

Hi Dave

Probably a silly question but...

Would Portsdown have the capacity to run a PLUTO and if so would the team ever consider it?

73 T'other Dave.
...are you sure I can't use a pair of 813's?...

Yes

Pluto is on the wish-list for me to do, but I want to get Lime working 100% first, and I'm not there yet.

Meanwhile the Pluto can transmit a basic DATV beacon all on it's own. See Plutoweb

Supporting the plutosdr should be available in a short delay...however Dave have a lot of features to integrate and maintain until it will be available on Portsdown.

New Portsdown Stretch Software Release 201811170

Another "stepping stone" release to enable future improvements in capability. This version moves across to F5OEO's new version of avc2ts, which allows the system software to be upgraded to the latest version of Raspbian Stretch. New builds should use the November 2018 Raspbian Stretch Lite image. No need to upgrade unless you want any of the following features:
  • Use new avc2ts in all H264 modes except C920 and Streaming
  • Update to latest Raspbian Version
  • Display Touch buttons during Animated Test Card transmission
  • Correct the highlighting output devices after selection

HI Dave,

With the portsdowm:
No transmission in H264 with sound.
If I turn off the sound, the transmission is fine.

Stephane.
