Inverted Pi Screen

Post by G4uvz » Thu Mar 29, 2018 1:17 pm

I have just taken delivery of a 'spare' 3.5 inch Pi screen...Insurance against the failure of my existing device....which will now work for ever!

As it was through ebay from the east, I
decided that I would check that it worked OK before storing it away.

All functions fine...display and touch,,however the display is upside down cf my existing display.

My existing display has the connections at the bottom of the screen....the new one they are at the top!

Should I need to break out the spare I will have to twist my ribbon cable, unless can be done in programming??

Hi Adrian

What was the screen sold as (Waveshare?) and who by? The eBay link would be useful. Interesting to know so that others can avoid that seller.

Try selecting the Tontec35 display in the console menu (System Setup, Display, Tontec35, space bar, enter) and then rebooting. That might turn your world the right way up.
