Can you help with testing Logitech webcams?

Post by M0DHP » Mon Feb 19, 2018 11:46 am

The latest production release includes partial support for Logitech C270 and C525 webcams (viewtopic.php?p=14940#p14940).

In pre-release testing using MPEG-2, both cameras worked OK for video with audio set to none or beeps. However, when using the audio from the webcam microphone, a problem was found when using each camera: over a period of a few seconds, the audio would break up, disappear completely and then return gradually. This cycle then repeated.

We tried testing with different audio sample rates and reduced video FPS but the problem persisted.

If you have one of these webcams, it would be great if you could test it with the latest production release to see if you can reproduce the problem. And of course, any help in diagnosing and fixing the problem would be much appreciated :-)
