Hi,
Just started testing my Portsdown. It's more or less fully built, but for the first test I unplugged everything from the breakout board except for the shut down button plug. The only item powered was the Pi - all other items such as filter modulator were unpowered.
After receiving the ugly mode transmission on my MiniTioune I tried to shut down using the button but it did not work - I also noticed that the LED was not lit.
I then checked the voltage on the LED and push button and it was 0V.
Should the shut down button work in ugly mode ?
If so I will have to sort this out before any further testing.

Ugly Mode and Shutdown Button
Re: Ugly Mode and Shutdown Button
Hi Nick
You need to enable the shutdown button in the Console shutdown menu. https://wiki.batc.org.uk/Console_mode. It is not enabled by default.
It will then work in all modes.
