Building up the RF output switch.
The recommended IC ADG904BRUZ Farnell (stock number 2074875) (and also the Digikey ADG904BRUZ-ND) are both 'back order' and not due back in stock until March or even July.
Is the ADG904-R (Farnell 2460645) equivalent? Both data sheets look the same - but haven't read every word of the 17 pages.
If not compatible, does anyone know of a source of this chip with immediate delivery ?

Re: ADG904 multiplexer availability
The difference is that the -R connects the unused ports directly to ground while the standard version does it through a 50 load. Either version is OK for the output switch.
Re: ADG904 multiplexer availability
Hi Martin,
As I said in the previous post I do have a spare -R if needed.

They may be a useful source for other hard to get components...I found a company in Los Angeles, bought 3 for $11 and got free shipping, and arrived in 4 days including the weekend and they were not in a small box; can’t imagine they made any profit!

Re: ADG904 multiplexer availability
I believe that Arrow have a distribution centre in Holland, this may account for the free shipping and fast delivery.
