Lenkeng HDMI over IP extender – LKV373A

Hi everybody,

I recently bought a Lenkeng HDMI over IP extender – LKV373A transceiver and receiver.

All is ok on my network in live tv but i would like to use it to send ip video to the Porstdown Digital Transmitter ...
it's possible to get the video in my network with vlc via rtp://@239.255.42.42:5004.
If someone could help me to succeed ... any help will be very appreciated

The performance of these devices is remarkably good for their cost. To send to the Portsdown you need to use UDP to the PI address. It might be able to (probably can) handle rtp but I expect that will need some programming. Do that yourself or ask Dave and duck.

The only problem I have found with that unit is that the bit rate is not as constant as the PI may want for sending over the air. It had no problems sending HDMI io VLC on the PC.

I've got the last version of fimware
TX SERVER : Version : 4.0.0.0.20161116 Encoder Version : 7.1.2.0.11.20161116

The resolution actually is a little bit strange :
Codec + h264 - mpeg4 avc
Resolution : 1728x1090
Resolution screen : 1728x1080

actually I can't access to any webserver to change the settings.
If I downgrade to an old firmware are you sure it will be possible ?
If it doesn't work I couldn't be back to the last version, working good with the receiver.
