Just built RF Switch and now on with LO Filter.

I have noticed that the Exclusive OR gate is shown on the circuits as 74HC86D,652.

Digikey sent me 74HC86D,653 chips.

After searching web I can not find out what the differences are. Both devices have the same data sheet and as far as I can see the same spec.

Does anyone know what the differences are - do I need to replace the 653's with 652's ?

Hi Nick,

-653 comes packaged on a reel. -652 comes packaged in a tray. (When ordered in bulk.)

No difference in the component itself.

Thanks for quick reply - I hoped it would be something like that - did not want to try and replace it....

Just got the passives to fit on the LO Filter now.
