I am told that ZZ will work with SR2000 on DVBS but needs Mpeg2 ..I see on the Pi screen menu 1 that Cam Mpeg2 is available ..is it possible to encode the test patterns on MPeg2 ..or do I need to get a camera interface?

Hi Adrian

There is a static MPEG-2 Test Card on Menu 2 (labelled Card MPEG2). No moving balls though! Also on Menu 2 is the Vid MPEG2 option which will take Composite video from an external camera through an EasyCap and transmit (but not locally display) it.

MPEG-2 from a Pi Camera is available on Menu 1.

A much-needed Menu re-design is in the works, but not quite ready for release yet!
