Input/output Switching Expanders for the Portsdown

John, our hardware designer, points out that there are some useful IO Expander boards available on eBay should you wish to switch more PTT lines or indicators from the Portsdown:

These use I2C to control extra GPIO lines. Of course, you would need to modify the Portsdown software to use them, but in many cases this would be a simple case of editing a bash script.
