I was going to update my pi but can't connect to it. I can ping the pi and it's reachable but I get an error saying the "device refuses the connection". The pi responds to the touch screen. Anyone know what is happening? I've never had this issue before.
Thanks,
Bob
unable to connect

The one occasion that I saw something similar, I was trying to connect to the wrong IP address. I had misidentified another device on the network as the RPi. IP Scanner still reported it as a Pi for some reason, so take a look at the other responses in Advanced iP Scanner and see if you can connect to them. The IP address can change if you don't connect for some time.
