Spurious text on band viewer screen.
Re: Spurious text on band viewer screen.
Hi Brian
Thanks. No clues there. It looks exactly the same as htop running on the development system (which does not show the spurious text).
What happens if you go to Settings and Centre Freq? Is the text still there when the page is redrawn after using the keyboard?

After Settings, Centre Freq, Enter, the text disappears, although the coloured vertical bar to the right of the graph remains. After Return to Main Menu, the text returns.

OK Brian
That gives me something to work on.
The coloured vertical bar is supposed to be there. It shows the colour rendered on the waterfall for various power levels. The range of colours can be adjusted from the Waterfall Config Menu.
Do you get a Portsdown Logo during the transition from Portsdown to BandViewer?

Re: Spurious text on band viewer screen.
Hmm, I can't remember. I've put a card back in with the 20240313 build, I think and that works fine.
One thing I noticed when I forced an update with the problematic version - it couldn't find 'convert' in line 10 of the update script. 'convert' seems to be present in the currently working version.
