Logitech C920 vs C920e

I have worked some time with my portsdown4 and a C920 webcam. No problem, works fine.
Now i got another C920 that does not work with the portsdown.
Connected to the PC it reports a C920e.
What is the difference between those webcams and can i make the C902e work on the portsdown?

Hi Rob

Unfortunately, each variant of the C920 needs to be hard-coded into the Portsdown following some trial and error testing. It does already support 3 C920 variants, but without a C920e to test on my development rig, I can't add support for it remotely.
