Hello,
I am planning the layout of the Portsdown 4 and I intend to use a BATC 4-band switch purchased on Ebay. Can someone please tell me how much power this will safely handle? It will be used with the Pluto whose output will certainly not be constant over the 4 bands and I plan to put a preamp in front of the O/P switch but am unsure how much gain I can use with safety.
Thanks, in anticipation, Gordon

Re: 4-Band Output switch
The spec for the switching IC gives an "absolute maximum" input power of +18 dBm (63 mW). https://www.analog.com/media/en/technic ... adg904.pdf
However, I would be reluctant to run it at any more than +13 dBm (20 mW) to maintain linearity and longevity. A number of the 8-way switches are known to have failed because of the high power calibration spike that the LimeSDR Mini produces.
