is it freezing up

ive got my portsdown built wiht a lime and mintioune v2 all in the box with touch screen.

when i go to rx on a set freq . it goes to rx screen and scans around the freq required but after a few mins it just stops

i have to tap the right hand side of screen a few times before it comes out of rx then go back in to rx
it does this in
Play with ffmpeg in vlv, omx player and vlc

Hi

The Receiver will freeze up after a while using OMXPlayer, because OMXPlayer times out (and blocks the output of the the receiver). VLC with ffmpeg should keep running for hours - although Ryde is probably what you need if you are just going to monitor a channel.

Try changing the USB lead between the tuner and the Raspberry Pi.

done that.Ive tried direct to the pi in the other 3 ports and also on the powered usb hub.
going to try some ferrites on the usb. I have even running off battery power and not via my main shack psu. still the same
