Portsdown 4 Streaming and HDMI 'input'

Post by g8lce » Sun Oct 04, 2020 3:47 pm

Here is my lastest video showing how I stream to and from my Portsdown 4 and also how I use the HDMI streaming input. The Streaming HDMI device is an AMX NMX-ENC-1100 which sometimes appear on Ebay. Look at the manual for details. It will take in various types of video plus audio and stream it out RTMP or UDP etc. An old piece of kit!
The BATC stream I show is g8lce.com datv rx. This comes from a commercial satellite receiver which gives black & syncs out with no signal. The stream is put into a Raspberry Pi 2 B via the BATC USB video adapter. It seems to work only when the 3.5inch screen is used to start it. (did not want to work very well from ssh.)
