Hi all
Is there anyway to put audio pids into the portsdown?
The nearest repeater to me is GB3UD which uses non standard settings
ie video pid 162 which I can alter but the audio pid is 88. The problem that I am having
is that the repeater is receiving a carrier from me but the screen is blank.
My minitune is receiving my video ok and is showing the pids as video 162 audio 161.
Im sure that the audio pid is the problem.

The GB3UD video PID is 162. PMT is 32 and PCR is 133, but the repeater doesn't seem to care about those 2 as I've successfully used a DigiLite with different values.

The pid setup is only for video nothing for audio, strange that the same effect is happening on the sat receiver
just a blank screen after a scan although the signal and quality on the sat receiver are ok.
Everything is fine on the minitune perfect picture.

Sorry Brian yes the video pid on ud is 162 and audio is 88
On the Portsdown pids you only have the option to set the pmt which I have set set for 161
this then sets the video to 162 and the audio to 163

I have just noticed that on the minitune it is showing the pids on the received signal as

I'm afraid that the Portsdown isn't very good with audio PIDs (yet). In H264 it sets the audio PID (for the non-existent audio) one below the video, and in MPEG-2 (where there is audio) it sets it one above the video.
It's on my list to fix, but it's not a part of the code that I am very familiar with, so I need to take my time and do it properly so I don't break anything else!

Thanks for the reply dont worry as I have the digi lite and Brians digithin that I can use for UD I
was just testing it through the repeater
