So money no object and a big bright screen essential, also the ability to see the QO-100 beacon AND the MER. Which would you buy and from who ?

Thanks Dave

I personally found it a nightmare to use so I sold it on. I MUCH prefer using the Portsdown with a Mini or Pico-tuner. If you add a cheap RTL dongle you can use it for NB too. Don't think the media-finder does anything under 1Ms either so you'll be unlikely to receive anything amateur on it...added benefit of the Portsdown is it does all sorts of other cleaver stuff too, especially if you add a Pluto.

OK thanks, but I specifically want what I described.

Thanks Dave

I have a V8 Finder. It does not work on QO-100. It does not display MER. It doesn't work with H.265. It won't even display the local repeater.

You need to re-think this request Dave, as your specific requirements cannot be met.

That's odd, YouTube suggests otherwise in numerous places.

Can I have some positive replies folks please ?

Thanks Dave

Not sure I still would in 2025 Dave, but if you insist, the Satlink WS6979 was OK

EDIT - the price seems to have gone up a lot since I bought mine. They were around £70. It does display the MER and it will decode the beacon, or at least it would at the time, when the beacon was 2Ms/s, I have not tried since. This is now obsolete but there may be a successor.
