Monitor Down?

Post by M0LIH » Thu Mar 30, 2023 9:15 am

Is anyone else having difficulties getting onto the monitor this morning? Just wondering if it is just me?

It would appear to be down as I also can not connect to it.

OK great, so long as I haven't broken anything! Is there anyone we should tell?

I guess they would know soon enough, I would not know who to tell.

There may have been a power outage at the site. It's being investigated.

Yes, confirmed as a late-notice (to us) planned power outage due to Power Engineering works in our host building at Goonhilly. It's not all bad as the works should increase the future resilience of our supply.

We are hoping for the power to come back on before 1600 UTC.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the update, is that what is wrong with the beacon too?

The beacon is OK, I have a spider taken residence in the LNB horn, so a bit down on my usual, but otherwise fine.
