Local Offline Wideband Spectrum Monitor
Local Offline Wideband Spectrum Monitor
I've been experimenting with creating an offline version of the batc wideband monitor, mostly for when the internet is down or for use in a portable station. I've documented the install instructions and added a modified webinterface and a modified version of Rob's quicktune where you can link to the local fft data instead of the online data.

Maybe its helpfull to someone,

These changes are now in the latest quick tune version (1.27) on github.

Re: Local Offline Wideband Spectrum Monitor
Hi Rob,
I have just installed your latest Quick Tune Version 1.27 and have noticed that the (27) 125/66/33 Ks 'bars' below the spectrum are not being displayed.
The previous 1.26b version displays the 1000, 500/333/250 and 125/66/33 'bars'.
The spectrum is looking pretty. Many thanks.
73 Wolfgang.

Hi Wolfgang,
Looks like these bars were within the spectrum plot before (but it was not filled), but now they are hidden
I'll look into it over the weekend.

Wishlist: an extra setting to ignore beacon when busy - i.e. the beacon is displayed as the lowest priority.

Re: Local Offline Wideband Spectrum Monitor
This is slightly different - maybe more relevant for WinterHill. If there are 4 or more stations plus the beacon transmitting, don't tune to the beacon while the 4 other stations are there, even in timed mode. If there are 3 or fewer stations plus the beacon, tune to the beacon. If an new station appears, leave the beacon and tune to the new station.
It's so the receiver will always be doing something. I find the quickest way to clear a busy band is to tick Avoid Beacon.

Re: Local Offline Wideband Spectrum Monitor
That's just the sort of thing I've been wanting. Is it specifically designed to work with just the Air Spy or can it be configured to work with, say, an RSP1a which has 8 MHz of bandwidth?
