SR vs. video resolution vs. FEC

Hi all,
I am struggeling with SR, FEC and video-resolution for a given output. Right now, I can reach the level of the beacon, but my video is quite blocky.
Is there any kind of a table, which would give me an estimate, what resolution is usefull with which SR and FEC ?
I know, FEC 1/4 keeps even low signals readable, but I am looking for a smooth video, even thumbnail-style.
Any advise would be appreciated
