Spectrian Power Measurement

I am now at the modification / power measurement phase.
I have a Racal 1GHz 30watt power meter but the estimated 30 + watts reads but a few mWatts!
So I resorted to the trusty HP432A with appropriate attenuators but this is where I run into problems, the largest
power attenuator is rated at 10 Watts.
I have tried using some old UR67 which gives around 12dB attenuation at 2400MHz when tested at the 2-3 watt level
I am assuming that the results can be extrapolated to higher power levels......is this valid?
Between the amplifier and the UR67 I have a 5M tail of brand new RG402 ....2dB loss? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5m-RG402-RF- ... 2749.l2649
This gets warm to the touch throughout it's length...
