BATC WEB SDR Cornwall, the old Problem with the cookies

Post by df6yc » Thu Feb 05, 2026 3:32 pm

Hi Folks,
the real wellknown problem is again on the road.
The web sdr greet with this not nice message:
"Your browser is trying to send too many cookies, this doesn't work with the websdr application. Please click here to clear your cookies and refresh the page"

I truely believe that this is not the problem of my browser, in the past it was often a problem with software from the web-sdr or something like this.
Please have a closer look to this problem.

Thank you very much
DF6YC, Michael from Germany, JO41JW.

Im not sure which browser you are using, I use firefox, and I had the same issue a few months back.
I didnt want to delete all my cookies as this caused login problems with other webpages I was also active on.
I found by opening the eshail web page in a new Private Window stopped the problem as no cookies were set in the private window.
Hope that helps

Same problem here. I've also been wondering why there's so much activity on Roberto's website.

By the way, it also displays images that were sent via KG-STV and HS modem.

Hi All,

The cookie problem has now been fixed.
Also the 2 metre receiver on the VHF WebSDR has regained its proper sensitivity - the 'MRF preamp is now being powered again
Thanks Phil:)
