Getting beacon fine on satbox, but will I get anything else?

Post by Keith G8VMP » Sat Mar 23, 2019 12:46 pm

Sorry, I'm a Newbie at this!
I did a search before I posted but not certain of the answer.

I've swung my domestic 80cm dish round and tuned the domestic satbox to 10.492 and receiving the beacon fine.

Will I get any other ATV signals or do I need to build the Mini Tiouner?

many thanks

Hi Keith

If you watch the spectrum monitor https://eshail.batc.org.uk/wb/, you will occasionally see some signals labelled as 0.9MS or 1MS. These are actually 1MS signals and you may find that you can retune your SatBox to receive them.

You will need the MiniTiouner for the narrower RB-TV signals.

Many thanks - receiving PE1ASH on my satbox now!

Quite surprising really!

No sound but will fiddle to see if its me or not
