CQ-TV 270 is ready for download

The electronic copy of CQ-TV 270 is available for download on the BATC website at https://batc.org.uk/cq-tv/cq-tv-download/ . You will need to be logged in to the website to access this page. If you have not already visited the website, you will need to do a password reset before you can access the CQ-TV page - simply follow the instructions on this page https://wiki.batc.org.uk/Resetting_your_password
This edition is packed full of information with a major feature on the various ways the versatile Pluto SDR can be used to generate DATV and Paul M0EYT describes how it can also be used as spectrum analyser and tracking generator up to 6GHz.
We have part 2 of the BECG article on Television History - Live and Shaun G8VPG describes how the Ryde set top box has been installed at GB3ZZ to give a variable symbol rate receiver for the Bristol repeater.
Also inside CQ-TV you will find a summary of all the BATC projects we are currently running plus a report on grants made through the BATC bursary scheme.
And don't forget we are holding our annual repeater contest over the Christmas holiday giving you the opportunity to help your repeater group win £100 towards their running costs.
